Freelancing
The weather’s pretty miserable today, which is a pity: it’s the first time I’ve seen daylight for most of the last week. I’ll just have to content myself with seeing it through a rain-drenched window.
I’ve been pretty busy recently, in my new job as a freelance production electrician. Or techie, as we call them in DramSoc. But the hours suck, teching isn’t half as much fun when it’s not with your friends (or when you’re on your own for six hours in the dead of night), and freelancing is all well and good if you know lots of people and can get work often enough to call it regular. Which, unfortunately, I don’t. So I’ll shortly be looking for a salaried job again, and this time with a bit more effort.
