I got my other new lens, eventually, but unfortunately I’ve missed all the shows this term now. I’m hoping it’ll work a lot better in low light (but it’ll be worth it just for the crazy-shallow depth of field). I found my new telephoto was quite good for stage stuff since I can crop off a lot of the black backgrounds to get better exposures, but since I need a tripod for that, it just encourages me to be lazy and sit still.
I’ve been busy for the last month or two – I’m juggling all sorts of things at once. There is, however, always time for a party to celebrate signing the contract for the flat for another year. That’s the first time I’ve ever done that (and probably the first time I’ve ever wanted to either!) I’ve been doing a fair bit of coding recently, both at work and at home – although I stuggle at work to concentrate for any length of time. At home, it eats up the hours too quickly!
I seem to have a never-ending list of things to do…
