Up Hill, Down Field
Last weekend was another trip to Wales for me, but unlike the last few climbing expeditions, this was a mountain biking trip. Which, if you know me well, might surprise you: I’ve barely ridden a bike in the last decade, never mind tried tacking off roading and steep descents. We camped on a farm near Sennybridge (Llwynstyfillin Form), and I borrowed Jude’s bike for the first few days before hiring one from Brecon.
I had a great time, and quickly got back into the swing of things - even if I’m not as fit as I would like. I took my camera with me, but between concentrating on getting up the hills, and not wanting to add to the worries of falling off, I didn’t take it out and about. So no good photos from the first trip. (You can read into that that I’m probably going to do this again sometime!)
