Pennine Way

A week ago Ant and I finished off the Pennine Way - a 270-odd mile trek from Edale (near Sheffield) to Kirk Yethom (near Berwick) in 15 days. I’ve been putting off writing the regulation blog post about it, wanting to do it justice, but I haven’t got round to it. So I won’t bother trying to make this comprehensive.

The Pennine Way

It was long. It was hard. It was hot, sunny, raining, hazy. It was exhausting. You can see all my photos from the Pennine Way on Flickr, along with bits and pieces in the photo notes.

  1. Congrats on walking the PW.

I walked it about 105 years ago and wrote on my blog about it recently. I really enjoyed it but that is probably with the mists of time dulling out all the bad bits!

I’m off to check out your photos. Congrats again, it is quite an achievement and one which you can be rightly proud of.

  2. […] Almost a year ago, Ant and I walked the Pennine Way. More recently, Josh Roberts pointed me towards an article he has written for USA Today about it. You can read the full article online. […]

  3. Nice photos! I walked the Penine in 1999, the photos brought back quite a few memories of long wet days!
